I'm Fabio, a software engineer with 10 years of experience. I work at GetYourGuide, where I spend most of my time in Go and Python, with a good amount of CI/CD work through GitHub Actions. I also try to stay on top of what's happening in the Claude and AI-assisted development space.

Of the languages I've used professionally, Python is the one I have the most expertise in, followed by Go. I've also worked with Elixir and Java in the past, though it's been a while since I've written either.

Outside of work, I like to learn things. My personal projects are mostly in TypeScript, built with Astro, Hono, and Tailwind CSS, deployed on Cloudflare's edge platform (Workers, Pages, D1, R2). Everything you see here runs on this stack. I also write Go and Python for personal tools, and I'm currently learning Rust. On the creative side, I've been exploring game development with Godot and Unreal Engine.

When I'm not at a keyboard, I'm usually out with a camera. I photograph wildlife as a way to slow down and pay attention to the natural world. That work lives at fabioueno.com.
